François Gagey
François’ practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation and white collar crime. He also provides valuable advices in corporate law, commercial law, compliance and risk analysis.
He handles complex and high-stakes cases by shaping outcome-oriented strategies, representing clients in proceedings before criminal, civil and commercial courts and assisting them at every steps of a conflict, including negotiations.
In particular, he deals with cases related to conflicts between shareholders, corporate finance (post-mergers disputes) and senior executive’s civil and criminal liability.
François is a graduate of Paris I University (Master’s degree in Business Law), Science Po Paris (M2) and the London School of Economics (MSc). He is also a former Secretary of the Conference, a bicentennial institution of the Paris Bar, which each year, through an eloquence competition, nominates 12 lawyers who will be courts-appointed in the most complex and serious criminal matters.
Priori to joining APG as a partner, François spent many years with the prominent French law firm Viguié Schmidt & Associés. Before joining the Bar, François worked as a consultant at Deloitte specialized in economic development and project finance.
